Christmas From the Heart

Since its inception in 2002, Christmas from the Heart has provided over 1,600 Asheville area children with gifts for Christmas morning. Many of these children and their parents attended our dinner event where the theme was “Jesus is the Reason for Christmas.”
In addition, in 2005, Hearts With Hands, Inc. sent Christmas gifts to over 600 children in the Gulf Coast region after Hurricane Katrina.

Hearts With Hands
Hearts With Hands, Inc. is pleased to announce the engagement of two Christmas programs for 2006; Operation GI Joe/GI Jane and Gulf Coast Christmas.
Operation GI Joe/GI Jane... Many of our men and women will be stationed in foreign theatres and will not be able to come home for Christmas. Unfortunately, many of these men and women do not have anyone at home to support or maintain their morale. Operation GI Joe/GI Jane is a program designed to share compassion and goodwill throughout the Christmas season with our brothers and sisters serving in the military. Won't you help share a little Christmas joy with these men and women by putting together a care package for them? Or perhaps your church, civic organization, or school would like to assemble several care packages for our troops.
Many of you are busy this year planning your own Christmas fellowship and time becomes an issue. You can help too! Just make a financial donation to Hearts With Hands, Inc. to help with the packing, shipping, and additional contents of the care packages. You can donate through this website, call our offices, or mail a check or money order. Whichever way you decide to help, your assistance will be greatly appreciated. (Click here for printable Operation GI Joe/GI Jane flyer.)
Gulf Coast Christmas...Hurricane Katrina completely devastated the Gulf Coast of our country. Many of the victims of this disaster, even a year later, are still living in temporary FEMA housing, have no jobs, and are without any possibility of the situation getting better. Hearts With Hands, Inc. wants to provide a 'Christmas from the Heart' for the Gulf Coast victims of Hurricane Katrina. Won't you help by sharing your compassion with those who are less fortunate with a financial gift? Your gift of any amount will be appreciated and will bring so much optimism during this season of hope!
